Schmullian: 'Final Push' as Cathcart Election Day Approaches
With seven weeks remaining until polling day on 7 May 2026, Reform UK's Kim Schmullian says she is more energised than ever by the response she has received from voters across the Glasgow Cathcart constituency during her campaign.
After months of doorstep canvassing, community meetings, and local engagement across Cathcart, Kings Park, Simshill, Croftfoot, Burnside, Langside, and Mount Florida, Schmullian says the appetite for change is clear and growing.
Schmullian said: "Wherever I go in this constituency, I meet people who are ready for a different kind of politics. They are fed up with being taken for granted. They want a Holyrood representative who will turn up, speak up, and actually fight for south Glasgow families on the big issues that matter — NHS, housing, schools, and the cost of living."
She said Reform UK's message of lower taxes, better public services, and common-sense governance is resonating strongly with voters across the constituency.
"We are going into these final weeks with tremendous momentum. I am asking the people of Glasgow Cathcart to give Reform UK the chance to deliver the change this constituency deserves. I will not let them down," she said.
